EIT Urban Mobility is joining Children’s Day in Prague on 1 June! The event is organised by the Prague 1 Municipal District, bringing together actors from a wide array of sectors to host activities and workshops for both children and adults.
Citizen engagement activities are a key to the construction of urban spaces and learning more about how people view mobility in their city. When organising citizen engagement activities, knowledge is shared and exchanged about challenges and opportunities, allowing a new way of thinking of how to design cities. Engaging children opens the doors to more imaginative and inclusive urban spaces.
How do children see the city and their place in it? Join us at the EIT Urban Mobility booth for the following activities to find out more! EIT Urban Mobility activities are for both Czech and English speakers.
These activities include:
- Learning about sustainable urban mobility trends and Prague-specific mobility trends through information boards,
- voting on the importance of different urban mobility features,
- agreeing / disagreeing to different statements related to urban mobility,
- writing postcards to the city administration regarding how children envision a safe city to live and move in,
- creative activities and drawing cities for the future.
The event is free and open to everyone. We look forward to seeing you there!
