Quadrilátero main goal within the URBACT S.M.ALL Project is to co-create an integrated regional sustainable mobility plan, focused on children’s transport. The four portugueses cities – Braga, Barcelos, Guimarães and Vila Nova de Famalicão – that created “Quarilatero Urbano city association” intend to improve their sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs) regarding school transport and home-to-school journeys for the whole student population of this large urban area.
The transnational meeting to be held in Portugal is an opportunity for them, to present some of the good practices they have been testing over the years, their main challenges, and most importantly, to have critical opinions, feedback, and ideas on how to address the problems and upgrade their SUMPs.
