The Intermobility and Bus Expo is your gateway to exploring the present and future of mobility! Taking place from 19 to 21 November 2024, at the Rimini Expo Centre, this event is a unique platform where long-distance travel meets with local public transport.
Now in its 11th edition, IBE also incorporates INTERMOBILITY Future Ways, the 1st National Forum of Shared Sustainable Mobility. This forum addresses the evolving challenges of future mobility, focusing on understanding the current state, trends, and factors driving change in sustainable and shared mobility. With the green and digital transition accelerating the demand for new mobility models, this event serves as a key platform for exploring innovative solutions and organisational models, along with the development of new services, modes, and transport systems for the future.
Focus on Innovation and Sustainability
Aligned with the energy transition goals of the Next Generation EU, the Intermobility and Bus Expo 2024 edition will highlight advancements in new power sources, digital technologies, and the contribution of new mobility players. The event will also cover a wide spectrum of topics, from local public transportation and tourist bus trips to emerging trends and market demand for intermodal solutions.
EIT Urban Mobility’s Role
At this year’s edition, EIT Urban Mobility will be participating with a booth and leading a panel session titled “Shared Mobility Cities: Good practices and innovative solutions from EIT Urban Mobility’s network“. Our session will be held on Tuesday, 19 November 2024 from 15:30 – 17:00 CET and we will address the topics of mobility as a service and provide examples of solutions regarding shared mobility, i.e. innovative solutions in recent years, integration of shared mobility services and more. We divided our panel session into the following segments:
