Unlocking innovation and entrepreneurship in urban mobility
The EIT Urban Mobility Winter School series is a pathway to transforming urban mobility with innovation and entrepreneurship. Designed for bachelor students within the urban mobility field from Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS) countries, our Winter Schools share a common mission: to empower the next generation of leaders in urban mobility with the knowledge, skills and mindset to drive positive change.
Hands-on learning
All our Winter Schools are immersive, dynamic learning experiences that focus on fostering innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainability in the field of urban mobility. We bring together students, industry experts, and stakeholders to address real-world challenges and co-create solutions. Each school is a catalyst for change, creating a network of like-minded individuals committed to shaping the future of transportation.
Innov4Mobility Winter School (Aveiro, Portugal)
The EIT Urban Mobility Innov4Mobility Winter School was carefully designed to provide an extraordinary learning journey to participants, where they tackled urban mobility challenges through an entrepreneurial lens. Participants dove deep into the complexities and opportunities of this ever-evolving field, applying entrepreneurial principles to solve real-world urban mobility issues faced by European cities.

EXCEL Winter School (online and face-to-face in Gozo, Malta)
EXCEL Winter School empowers students to shape the future of sustainable urban mobility. Participants can immerse themselves in innovation, entrepreneurship and cutting-edge tech while collaborating with industry leaders and local mobility ecosystems.
EXCEL Winter School was be composed of an online preparatory week, focused on developing entrepreneurial skills among participants, and a study visit week in Malta and Gozo, with the objective of providing students with practical experiences, expert guidance and networking opportunities to enhance their knowledge and skills in urban mobility. The study visit included challenge-based learning, site visits, workshops, lectures, mentoring sessions and a pitching event.

WINSCOOL Winter School (Tartu, Estonia)
The WINSCOOL project was a vital part of EIT Urban Mobility’s mission to enhance urban mobility solutions and drive societal impact. Geared towards empowering bachelor students from RIS countries, it focused on entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainability, aligning with EIT Urban Mobility’s strategic objectives for increased mobility and a sustainable future.
