Home > Request for proposals: Development and deployment of platform for the quality assurance and certification of professional courses
30 August 2023
By the present procurement procedure, EIT Urban Mobility, hereinafter being referred to as “EIT UM”, is aiming to identify a supplier who can customise specific software tailored to the needs and requirements of the EIT UM Quality System for Non-Degree Education and Training. The space in which the build takes place and the process functions, using SharePoint Online, will be owned by EIT UM and hosted in EIT UM´s own servers. The support sought will be focused on the customisation/development, testing and troubleshooting, validating, and rolling out of the platform that will underpin the EIT UM Quality System for Non-Degree Education and Training, as well as support with maintenance and potential new developments.
The EIT UM Quality System for Non-Degree Education and Training, currently under development in manual format, is the EIT UM´s professional education quality assurance and certification system to assess our courses and trainings´ alignment with the requirements and criteria of the EIT Label. It consists of a three-step process taking the form of questionnaires where the course provider uploads evidence files and has access to guiding documents. This platform will be used as the main interface with the Course Providers to log information on courses for the Competence Hub, our professional education team, to review the progress and implementation of the three-step process and to assess and evaluate the course in relation to the EIT Label requirements, and for the External Experts to conduct their final assessment. We expect this platform to function as a large repository for course information, questionnaires, and evidence files. The platform will also be used to communicate notifications and certain updates to the users.
