EIT Urban Mobility is an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union and Europe’s largest network for transport innovation in cities.
Our mission is to accelerate change towards a sustainable model of urban mobility and liveable urban spaces.
Using cities as living labs, our industry, research and university partners will demonstrate how new technologies can work to solve real problems in real cities by transporting people, goods and waste in smarter ways.

Be part of a team where you will:
The Academy Officer reports to the Academy Programme Manager and provides support regarding the coordination and monitoring, quality assurance and reporting of EIT Urban Mobility Academy’s activities.
This includes but is not limited to the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Monitor, follow up and engage in quality assurance of Academy activities, KPIs, outputs and deliverables.
- Drive initiatives to increase efficiency across Academy activities.
- Provide operational support for the yearly business plan creation, including preparation, launch and implementation of calls, execution of and reporting on Business Plan and activities.
- Monitor Academy activities throughout the business cycle and provide operational support to partners.
- Support with procurement procedures, liaising with the appropriate teams internally to obtain approvals.
- Act as the contact point with the EIT Urban Mobility central communications team, developing an Academy communications plan, in liaison with the Academy team and creating Academy related content for the different EIT Urban Mobility channels and tools.
- Feed Academy activities, events, and results into the central communications team repository and planning.
- General administrative support of the Academy Management Team.

Must-Haves:
- A qualification or equivalent work experience in the field of Administration, Programme Management, and/or Education [1].
- Written and spoken English (C1).
- Experience in working in an international, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Experience for EU funded multinational programmes, or similar type of programmes.
- Ability to plan and organise multiple tasks simultaneously and to manage, sometimes, conflicting deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as outstanding document drafting skills.
Nice-To-Have:
- Professional experience in the field and linked to Horizon Europe Projects.
- Any European language other than English is a plus.

Kindly note that this position is based in Barcelona.
This is a permanent and full-time position, with possibility to homework up to 2 days a week.
No relocation expenses are granted.
