Request for proposals: Project management and dynamisation support to implement the new private digital platform for EIT Urban Mobility Community

27 March 2024

By the present procurement procedure, the EIT KIC Urban Mobility S.L. hereby being referred to as “EIT UM” or the “Company” is aiming to identify a provider (hereinafter, referred to as “the Contractor” or “Tenderer”) to support in the implementation of a new digital community platform on (1) project management during the implementation phase, and (2) dynamization and community engagement during the launching phase of the platform.

Project Management Office

The provider will support the activation and implementation of the new digital platform, acting as Project Management Office (PMO). As such, the provider will oversee the project coordination with the different stakeholders and the EIT Urban Mobility team while incorporating strategic guidance to ensure end-to-end coherence and alignment with long-term goals of the digital platform.

Dynamization and Community Engagement

The provider will support on the dynamization and community engagement by focusing on fostering active participation and vibrant community involvement in alignment with the project’s strategic direction.

The new Private Digital Platform for EIT Urban Mobility community will replace our current ‘Partners’ Site’ (CMS SharePoint), allowing partners to access several types of information, such as legal documents, operational information, brand requirements, news, and events, and to better engage with our community in a wider scope (partners and larger ecosystem of stakeholders).

Our community is made of over 250 partners and larger ecosystem of more than 950 stakeholders as we work together to make the transition to more sustainable urban mobility and livable urban spaces. This community includes industry, including large enterprises, SMEs, and start-ups (who already have access to a community platform, the EIT Urban Mobility Growth Lab, hosted by HiveBrite); universities and education institutions; students and alumni; research and technology organisations; governments at local, regional, national and EU-level; and non-governmental organisations (NGOs).

The aim of the new platform is to offer a Private Digital Platform where our partners and stakeholders can access information, documents and opportunities shared by EIT Urban Mobility, see, and register to events, and engage in interactive discussions with other members, according to their user role.
