Request for proposals: Copywriter expert for Competence Hub

EIT KIC Urban Mobility S.L. (hereinafter referred to as “EIT Urban Mobility”) is initiating a procurement procedure to enlist the services of a qualified copywriting expert (hereinafter referred to as the “Supplier”). The primary aim is to secure copywriter to support the efforts of the marketing team in crafting compelling content for both awareness and conversion purposes. This content will facilitate the expansion of the current learner base of the EIT Urban Mobility Academy’s Competence Hub e-course learning platform, known as Urban Mobility Course (UMC), accessible at www.urbanmobilitycourses.eu. It’s important to note that as of mid-Q2 2024, Urban Mobility Courses will operate under the name Urban Mobility Explained (UMX) (hereinafter referred to as “UMC/UMX”).

The Competence Hub is dedicated to bridging the knowledge gap in the urban mobility sector, with a focus on fostering a more efficient and sustainable future. Our mission centres around capacity building and skill development to drive the transformation of urban mobility. Through the UMC/UMX e-learning platform, we provide urban mobility professionals with a wide array of high-quality, current online courses, enabling them to learn at their own pace.

Consequently, we are seeking a Supplier capable of generating engaging content to stimulate awareness of our learning catalogue. This Supplier will assist in copywriting for marketing and communication activities associated with the Competence Hub. The Supplier’s copywriting activities include but are not limited to researching, writing, and editing blog posts, creating social media (both paid and organic posts) and Google campaigns copy; developing white papers; crafting email marketing campaigns; refining web copy; preparing presentations; enhancing SEO and scripting videos.

To be considered, Suppliers must provide a comprehensive CV showcasing their relevant expertise and experience in copywriting, particularly within the education and/or urban mobility sector. Furthermore, Suppliers are encouraged to include any additional pertinent information they deem relevant to the objectives outlined in this Request for Proposal.
