After two years of gaining and sharing insights on electrification of logistics, the SELECT project will present its final results.
Join us for the final conference in Mechelen, Belgium, where we will hear more about the development of the EU’s charging infrastructure and the strategic initiatives of the Flanders Region. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to visit VPD Logistics, a key player in last-mile delivery.
The final conference brings together local and regional authorities with business support organisations from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark and Sweden. The project partners are dedicated to exploring the requirements for powering electric light and heavy-duty vehicle fleets at logistics terminals and public locations. The project also investigates potential new services enabled by digital solutions and the necessary governance structures to facilitate this transition.
A crucial aspect of the work involves examining the role of public actors in supporting the electric transition within the logistics sector.

ABOUT SELECT
The SELECT project, funded by the Interreg North Sea Region, unites local and regional authorities alongside business support organisations from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark and Sweden. Its overarching aim is to present a model for collaboration between these authorities and logistics stakeholders. The collaboration should help to facilitate the rapid electrification of commercial logistics fleets and the adoption of digital solutions for sharing charging infrastructure. This model serves as a blueprint for other authorities in the North Sea Region (NSR).
