Smart City Conference

Event details

As long-term thinking plays an increasingly important role, smart city solutions have been developed around the world. Latvia is no exception – a smart city ecosystem is also gradually forming here. Those are quite obvious solutions, for example, electrical outlets or micro mobility, or less obvious tools, such as sensors or LED lighting. In order to understand where we are now, where we are going and how to promote cooperation between the responsible institutions, companies and society, EIT Urban Mobility RIS Hub Latvia (Riga Technical University and the innovation movement VEFRESH), together with the tech company Tet, invites you to the Smart City Conference 2022.

During the event, the scope will focus on energy, mobility, sustainable transport, data and internet of things and their importance in the design of a smart city, as well as the citizens’ involvement and social responsibility in order to raise the standard of living of society in Latvian cities.
