EIT Urban Mobility is looking for an intern for the Innovation department’s new “targeted projects programme” that will address the gaps in Innovation’s existing project portfolio and respond to new and emerging technologies. The intern will support the programme’s initial phases and support the selection, development, and monitoring of the Programme’s first targeted projects.
The intern will report directly to the Targeted Projects Manager for day-to-day line management and strategic direction.
EIT Urban Mobility’s Innovation’s role is to bring new innovations to the market and to create more liveable urban spaces. The Innovation team currently has 18 staff members in headquarters and five Innovation Officers in Innovation Hubs across Europe. The team is planned to grow with 30-40% in 2023.
Tasks:
- Support the selection and development of new targeted projects e.g., scouting new partners, consortia development, development project plans and timelines, writing memos and project concepts, etc.
- Support the active monitoring of running targeted projects eg: support consortia collaboration, KPI tracking, impact validation, financial sustainability checking, etc.
- Support the development of the new targeted project programme and the set up of new EIT processes for restricted and direct awards.
