Improved collection and use of mobility data can make our transport systems more efficient, safer, and more sustainable. Mobility Data Spaces will facilitate the voluntary, sovereign, and secure sharing of data to enable new public and commercial business models and services while respecting usage control and privacy for data owners.
Gain insights directly from Yoann Le Petit, Thought Leadership Manager at EIT Urban Mobility, and Josep Laborda, CEO and Managing Partner at Factual; as they delve into their latest study on the topic: “Unlocking the Future of Mobility with European Data Spaces”, written together with I2CAT.
The study explores the foreseen challenges in developing, deploying, and operating mobility data spaces, analysing the commercialisation aspects of transitioning from conceptual design, to piloted innovation, to a sustainable, in-production service model. Based on an expert survey and stakeholder interviews, the study outlines key recommendations for the private sector, for cities and regions, as well as for national and European decision-makers.
This interview was recorded during Tomorrow.Mobility 2023, our flagship event jointly organised with Fira de Barcelona; that brings together industry executives, government leaders, and global experts to address the crucial challenges the transportation sector is facing
