MoTO: a Turin-based living lab for a new inclusive, shared and digital mobility

Project summary

MoTO aims to create a living lab in Turin to test and validate three new mobility solutions: a digital twin for urban monitoring by Transcality, a carpooling solution by Karos Mobility, and inclusive mobility options for the visually impaired by Dreamwaves. By engaging local communities and leveraging existing initiatives like “ToMove” and “Torino City Lab,” the project seeks to demonstrate the feasibility and value of these innovative mobility services. The goal is to support the development of scalable and replicable mobility solutions that can be adapted to other cities, thereby contributing to social and environmental sustainability on a broader scale.
