Project summary

Europe’s commitment to adopt cleaner fuels, hydrogen in particular, has triggered the development of dedicated infrastructure networks for the delivery of hydrogen fuel in line with the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation. Such networks consist of hydrogen refuelling stations and green hydrogen production sources connected by hydrogen mobile storages. In collaboration with Hympulsion, our project will pilot an enhanced novel digital solution supporting advanced scheduling and planning of hydrogen mobile storage with the aim to secure hydrogen supply at hydrogen refuelling stations, whilst minimising logistics costs and negative environmental externalities. This innovative tool connects real-time data to contribute to efficient and optimised utilisation of hydrogen mobile storage, ultimately enhancing the sustainability and effectiveness of the mobility sector.
