Batch #1
Batch #1 of the EIT Urban Mobility Accelerator programme started in July 2020 in three Innovation Hubs (East, South, and Central) with 15 startups in a mostly virtual programme: In various workshops, the teams worked on their sales strategies, optimised financial plans or fine-tuned their business models. In “founders insights” successful entrepreneurs talked about their experiences in founding and scaling a company and in “CityDatings” they got established valuable connections to contact persons from our city partners.
Two new hubs with 10 new partners
In the second batch, Innovation Hub North and West will join the programme. This increases the possibility to get local exposure and to get access to essential stakeholders in the region’s ecosystems like city decision-makers, mobility corporates and investors interested in the topic of urban mobility.
Hub North is led by Aalto Startup Center and involves Aalto University, Helsinki City, KTH Innovation, and Stockholm City as partners. Hub West is led by TU/e, and AMS, Brainport and the City of Amsterdam contribute as partners (see all Hubs and partners below).
Application open for batch #2!

„The EIT Urban MobilityAccelerator programme is one of the most attentive business accelerators – the venture team really listens to our requests for further support and makes valuable connections. The level of access to a very high-calibre set of speakers and experts as well as an interesting peer group has been invaluable to us.
