In order to support the vision of creating more liveable urban spaces, EIT Urban Mobility is opening a call for applications for a Venture Financing Specialist. The Venture Financing Specialist will be responsible for managing and developing EIT Urban Mobility’s investment and grant initiatives for startups across the five Innovation Hubs.
The Venture Financing Specialist will be part of the pan-European Business Creation team and will be based at the EIT Urban Mobility Headquarters in Barcelona.
The Venture Financing Specialist will work in a matrix organization where s/he reports to the Business Creation Director, whilst supporting the Business Creation Managers based in our five regional Innovation Hubs.
The primary focus will be to manage the startup investment process, including sourcing of deal flow, Due Diligence, investment committee preparation and documentation and the ensuing equity portfolio. The investment portfolio is an essential financial sustainability mechanism used by EIT Urban Mobility Business Creation programmes.
